1. The wet preparation process and equipment for iron oxide red mainly use industrial waste iron sludge as the raw material. The products prepared by the two-step oxidation method include two main steps: seed preparation and two-step oxidation. Seed preparation involves reacting iron mud with sulfuric acid in a seed barrel to produce a ferrous sulfate solution, which then reacts to form a reddish brown seed solution; Pump the seed solution into a two-step oxidation bucket, and under heating, gas supply, and stirring conditions, add iron mud for reaction until the color paste in the bucket reaches the ideal state, ensuring sufficient contact between gas, liquid, and solid, and improving preparation efficiency and product quality.
2. The wet process for producing iron oxide red includes two main steps: seed preparation and two-step oxidation. Its characteristic is that in the seed preparation stage, the iron containing dust first reacts with sulfuric acid with a concentration of 70%~80% to produce a ferrous sulfate solution with a Baume degree of 20~25. After filtration, dilute to a dilute solution with a concentration of 7%, then add 30% sodium hydroxide to prepare a solution with a concentration of 10%. The residual alkali in the mother liquor should be maintained at 0.4-0.7g/L, and the pH value of the solution should be 9-11; Inject air for vigorous oxidation, stir with the stirring device inside the seed barrel, and after about 1 hour, generate a reddish brown colloidal suspension, namely iron red seed liquid; The two-step oxidation process is carried out in a specially designed two-step oxidation tank. Heat the seed solution to 60-70 ° C, add ferrous sulfate solution and an appropriate amount of water to maintain the concentration of ferrous sulfate solution in the oxidation tank at 8%, continue heating to 85 ° C, and introduce air for oxidation. When the pH value of the solution in the oxidation tank approaches 2 or lower, add iron containing dust and mud to participate in the reaction. As the reaction progresses, check the acidity or alkalinity of the reaction solution at any time. Of course, add an appropriate amount of iron containing dust to keep the reaction going until the color paste in the bucket reaches the ideal state.
